3Planesoft est le spécialiste des économiseurs d'écran en 3D de grande qualité, mais nécessitant parfois une configuration musclée pour tourner avec les détails au maximum (Nature 3D Screensaver ou Coral Clock par exemple). C'est le cas de Koi Fish, un écran de veille du plus bel effet, mais plutôt gourmand. Comme son nom l'indique, il s'agit une nouvelle fois de poissons.
A la différence d'autres économiseurs du même genre, Koi Fish ne propose pas de vue sur un aquarium mais sur des poissons dans une rivière. En poussant les détails au maximum, la vue est de toute beauté : le soleil se reflète dans une eau qui donne presque envie de s'y baigner, et les poissons sont très détaillés. Mais les utilisateurs de configurations modeste, et notamment de chipsets intégrés, devront subir une animation extrêmement saccadée. Les détails peuvent être réglés mais on perd alors en réalisme, même si cela reste relativement beau. Comme d'habitude chez l'éditeur, la scène s'accompagne d'une bande son relaxante. |

SoundMeter turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a handheld sound level meter (SLM). The iPhone’s built-in and headset microphones are suitable for basic sound level measurements, but high precision external microphones may also be used.

- With the iPhone’s built-in microphone, SoundMeter can measure peak sound levels of up to approximately 105 dB. With the iPhone’s included headset microphone, SoundMeter can measure peak sound levels of up to approximately 100 dB. (These limits are due to iPhone hardware, not the SoundMeter software.) Results may vary between iPhones and headset microphones.
